Jesse "Optimus" John is a versatile musician and music producer with over sixteen years of experience known for crafting rich, layered sounds that blend creativity with technical precision. His work reflects a strong sense of rhythm and modern influence, fusing contemporary genres with his own distinct style. With a heavy background in music production, Jesse focuses on building immersive tracks, paying close attention to melody, texture and overall vibe while shaping the unique sonic identity of the artists he collaborates with.

At the tender age of seventeen, Jesse pursued his passion for music by introducing the world to varying arts and culture through his given talent of producing. Known as a cultural ambassador, he is the magic
man of many favourite songs and hit jingles that stream our radio stations through our homes and automobiles.

Optimus is currently recognize for his outstanding achievements of working with youths in unfavourable communities by showing them a better life through music. Mr. John is currently the manager and music producer for the trending soca artiste Akhenaton ‘Yung Bredda’ Lewis and disc jockey Jelani ‘DJ Hotty’
Hepburn. Under his mentorship, the budding artistes have proudly represented Trinidad and Tobago across the Caribbean and internationally with performances spanning Barbados, Jamaica, the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Canada and Malta among others.
