Biography
Arlene Kasmally-Dwarika is a reputable educator by profession. She has been employed by the Ministry of education for the past thirty -two years. She hold a B.A. In English, literature and Social Sciences and post graduate work in education. She is a champion of arts integration and is known for her efforts in integrative teaching to foster artistic development, showcase student talent and create new material both for academic and aesthetic pleasure. She has a profound interest in creative partnerships as he facilitates opportunities for other authors to showcase their work at her school. Alongside this, she parthers with dramatic artists to infuse the literary genres while promoting global literacy within a Caribbean context. She has partnered with British publishers to contextualize several school-based material for students over the Caribbean.
Beyond her academic work, Arlene has maintains a personal writing life. her short stories and poetry have been entered in many Caribbean competitions. One of her recent poems have been published in the prestigeous 'Caribbean Writer' 2025 issue.
Her unwavering goal is to establish lifelong literacy and promote the culture of Trinidad and Tobago through creative pieces, provactive exploratory writing and educational partherships and leadership.
