Over the past decade AFTT has

become one of the premiere film

and culture festivals in Trinidad and

Tobago.

We have witnessed exponential

growth in the number of individuals

attending workshops and

screenings and this surge in

participation is a testament to the

growing interest and passion for the

art of filmmaking and for what AFTT

has to offer.

AFTT's film screenings have served

as a platform for local filmmakers to

showcase their works alongside

films from Africa and the diaspora.

These screenings have not only

entertained and inspired audiences

but have also fostered a sense of

community among film enthusiasts.

We have opened up a constructive

and creative space for engagement

and collaboration between the

rapidly rising African film industry

and our very own emerging local

industry in Trinidad and Tobago.
