Trinidad+Tobago Film Festival turns 20
The Trinidad+Tobago Film Festival turns 20 – and we’re opening our anniversary edition with the world premiere of DANM, a psychological horror written and directed by Teneille Newallo.
On the darkest night of the year, some ancestral legacies refuse to stay buried. Inspired by Trinidad and Tobago’s folklore, DANM reimagines the legend of La Diablesse as a haunting story of motherhood, identity, and inherited trauma – written, directed, produced, and led by Caribbean women.
