Biography
I am from the beautiful twin-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, a place rich in rhythm, diversity, and creativity. Growing up in a multicultural society has given me a deep appreciation for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Trinidad and Tobago’s vibrant mix of African, Indian, European, and Indigenous influences shaped my outlook on life, teaching me the importance of respect, unity, and open-mindedness.
Music is a core part of who I am. From soca and calypso to reggae, dancehall, R&B, and even international genres, I enjoy the energy and stories that music carries. It connects me to my culture while also opening doors to the world beyond my islands.
My curiosity about different religions and traditions has also shaped my worldview. I find meaning in learning how people express faith and values differently, yet share the same hope for peace and community.
Family holds a special place in my life. The warmth, humor, and togetherness of my family have grounded me and taught me the value of love and loyalty.
Overall, my culture has made me a person who can appreciate the hard work, creativity, and dedication behind art, movies, and theatre. It’s helped me understand that expression—whether through performance or storytelling—is not just entertainment, but a reflection of who we are as people.
