Biography
I am Belinda Valerie Murray and I live at 19 Matapal Street Morvant. I attended Nelson Street girls RC primary school from 1977 to 1983. After successfully completing the Common Entrance Examinations and passing for Morvant Laventille Junior Secondary from 1983 to 1986. I then attended Malick Senior Comprehensive from 1986 to 1990 where I completed the CXC examinations and acquired English General 2, Social Studies General 2, POB General 2, Integrated Science General 2, Typing General 2 and Mathematics General 3.
In 1992 I started my first job at Nealco Datalink where I worked until 1998 where I entered into the Government work environment working at quite a few offices. I eventually was forced to leave to take care of my Autistic daughter in 2001.
Within being a stay at home mother to my daughter I eventually had two (2) sons. Because my daughter was severely Autistic I was forced to try at home employment. I tried food, hairdressing and sewing so I could stay at home and take care of her especially. Within this time I started making little tote bags and selling and more and more persons would ask me to make a bag for them. This eventually became my main stay at home employment until in 2021 just after the COVID pandemic I was able to secure another state employment.
I am now employed by the state but I make handbags as a side hustle.
