Biography
Robert C.J. Waldron is a Trinidad and Tobago–based Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Educator with a flair for creativity, storytelling, and just the right amount of wit. With over a decade of experience in design and media, Robert has worked with powerhouse brands such as Unilever, Nestlé, ABEL, Angostura, and Atlantic, shaping campaigns that balance bold visuals with sharp communication. His professional journey spans from graphic artistry and videography to production work alongside industry veterans, even collaborating on a premier talk show that brought political leaders and public figures into the spotlight.
Graduating Cum Laude with a BA in Graphic Design from COSTAATT, Robert built a strong foundation in both theory and practice, later channeling that expertise into teaching. As a Graphic Art Teacher at Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East, he guides the next generation of designers with the same mix of discipline and creativity that has defined his career. He teaches not only technique, but also the valuable lessons he wished he’d known starting out.
Outside the classroom and studio, Robert wears many hats (and occasionally a flat cap). He’s captained dragon boat teams, explored football in search of “hidden talent,” and continues to refine his voice as a singer. A lifelong gamer, he embraces both play and work with equal passion—proof that creativity thrives where curiosity and dedication meet.
Robert’s design philosophy is simple: create work that resonates, communicates, and inspires. Whether crafting a logo, capturing a live event through video, or mentoring young artists, he brings equal parts professionalism, intuition (and perhaps a touch of beard wisdom) to every project.
